1. Introduction to Cryptography (10 min)
- Brief history of cryptography.
- Overview of substitution ciphers.
- Explanation of the Caesar cipher:
- Make sure you using the following Cipher Letters and Numbers
- ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ 0123456789
- Mr. Cusack will give some modification to your message.
- Each letter is shifted by a fixed number of positions.
- Example: Shift of 3 → A → D, B → E, C → F, etc.
- Decryption reverses the shift.
Assessment
- Students submit the screen print of their Notes to google classroom.
- The file name will be PX_lastname_CaesarCipherNote.png
