WeTeach_Cyber will provide appetizers. Dinner and drinks are on you. Pre-survey – we met this week to finalize the questions on the survey. This should be coming out sometime within the next week and will either come from me or from Madeline Haynes, our evaluator. I will send an email when it is sent so that you may check your spam folders, if necessary. Slack – The collaborative will be using Slack for communications. There will be a sub-channel for the 23-24 collaborative but you will also be joining the members of this year’s collaborative on Slack. As most cybersecurity teachers are siloed in there school, we hope to build a network of Texas cybersecurity teachers for questions, discussions, lesson plan ideas, and general brainstorming. • Please join the WeTeach_Cyber Slack channel https://join.slack.com/t/weteachcyberc-8bu3232/shared_invite/zt-1uw29667b-ocUcckswdo~qrf3HVHsxdg and I will add you to the 23-24 weteachcybercollaborative sub-channel. Homework – Due to a delay in the shipping of the book, Worm, the homework assignment has been switched with the October HW assignment. You will receive your book during the Cybersecurity Deep dive. • Assignment – Listen to a Cybersecurity or Digital Forensics Podcast. Come to the Deep Dive ready to discuss your podcast. One of my favorites is the “Darknet Diaries”. I always say to start with episode 40 and then go back to listen to the rest. Episode 40 is just a lot of fun!
